Our Story

Tailjay was founded in Singapore in 2023 as an operator-led venture studio built on practical startup and business-building experience.

Its foundation lies in hands-on work across multiple startups and growth-stage companies, spanning business development, digital transformation, team building, and operational leadership. Experience from early-stage idea validation through to revenue-generating operations shaped the structure and mindset behind Tailjay.

Rather than functioning as a traditional consultancy, Tailjay was built through direct execution. This included launching services, assembling distributed teams, implementing efficient processes, and delivering under real-world constraints, often in lean and bootstrapped environments.

From its base in Singapore, Tailjay works with distributed teams across the region. Over time, its ventures and collaborations have extended into Europe and Africa, reflecting a cross-border operating model.

Today, Tailjay supports both its own ventures and external organisations with guidance and practical support, helping teams structure their operations, access appropriate expertise, and manage growth in an increasingly digital and automated business environment.
